Prayer Update Aug. 2018

Prayer Newsletter | August '18 It’s August 15th, and that means only a few days remain until our Fall Outreach begins! In that spirit, here are some items for prayer: We already know of 12 students starting school this fall who have shown interest in Pulse. Pray that these students would become involved in Pulse or some other church or ministry. UCA averages more than 2,000 new freshman undergrads each year. Pray for the spiritual lives of these students, that all of them would have the opportunity to experience Christian community. We have several events planned to meet these students. Some of these are university-sponsored, others we will host ourselves. Pray for the following events: Conway Daze (organizational fair at UCA), Wed. Aug. 22nd Religious Life Fair (organizational fair for churches hosted by Hendrix), Tues. Aug. 21st Pulse Cookout (on-campus at UCA), Fri. Aug. 24th Pulse Launch (our first weekly meeting on campus), Thurs. Aug. 30th As crucial as these events are, far more meaningful will be our ability to make these students feel welcome and loved. Pray that our returning students would have welcoming and hospitable hearts.   Expect a recap of our Fall Outreach events in early September.
